A word from our Children’s Department:

At River Road Baptist Church, we believe children are an important part of the church right now. We love partnering with parents to help children discover who Jesus is, learn God’s Word, build lasting friendships, and grow in their faith.

Our Children’s Ministry is designed to create a safe, welcoming environment where kids can learn, worship, serve, and have fun while developing a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Bible teaching, meaningful relationships, fellowship, and age-appropriate activities, we want every child to know they are loved by God and have a place in His church.

Throughout the year, children can participate in Sunday School, AWANA, and other special events and activities.

Our heart is to come alongside families as we raise up the next generation to know and follow Christ. We pray that Proverbs 22:6 will be evident in the lives of our children:

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

We believe the investment we make in children today has an eternal impact. As Psalm 127:3 reminds us, “Children are an heritage of the Lord.”
